The world around us can be a bit overwhelming and hysterical sometimes. There are so many things happening around us and the pressure to become better everyday is noticeable all around us. Going back to the base is important from time to time. And with back to the base I mean taking a step back and cutting yourself from all the extern ‘neon lights’ surrounding us, that want our attention. Going back to your inner voice and skip the drama. That’s not always easy so I thought I’d share a few tips that might be helpful!

But we all have those moments, right? When you are, for example, ready to go out for a planned dinner but you don’t feel like talking, let alone, laughing or making contant in general. I’ve got a few tips and tricks I use to look put together when I’m really not. It’s okay to have a bad day but sometimes the timing just couldn’t be worse. So, hopefully with the right outfit and mindset people will forget about the fake smile. 😉
I never really heard of this quote before, beside that I’m not a person who will take a quote very seriously. But when I heard the meaning behind this one it really made me think about it. La Vie En Rose basicly stands for that you’ve got to remember, that whenever you are going through a rough time, you’ve still got the option to watch life through rose colored glasses. It’s all about the mindset you’ve got. Nothing is black and white, it can be rose colored if that’s the way you choose to look at it. You control your own mind.
Overthinking, it’s a serious issue, at least for me. People seem to think it’s not that much of a big deal. But not being able to let go of a thought can be pretty difficult and can lead to disfunctioning. Today I’ve got a few tips and tricks for you to keep in mind while dealing with overthinking, most of them are from a psycologist. These tips really helped me out and I hope by writing this post I’ll be able to give something back.

In stead of sitting in front of the television scrolling through your Instagram feed, go online and search for the cheapest plane tickets to an unknown destination. I’ve been to America last summer for two weeks after a long period of not going on a holiday at all, and when I got back home I felt reborn, it was so good to be gone for a while.
